Credit Union ONE awards $20,000 in scholarships to nine local students

Credit Union ONE is thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2026 William G. Coyne Memorial Scholarship. This year, the credit union awarded a combined $20,000 in scholarship funding to nine graduating high school seniors as they prepare to continue their education at colleges and universities.

All nine recipients were selected from a competitive pool of more than 40 applicants from across the state of Michigan. Applications were evaluated based on academic achievement, community involvement, volunteer service, and an essay submission about living the credit union values.

“This year's recipients have demonstrated excellence both inside and outside of the classroom,” said Meagan Welsh, Community Relations Manager at Credit Union ONE. “Their leadership, service, and academic accomplishments reflect the positive impact they are already making in their communities, and we're honored to support them as they take the next step in their education.”
