Using Your Debit Card

Your MasterCard® Debit Card can be used in the following ways to access your account and conduct transactions:
  • As a credit transaction (Signature-based) Earn Rewards
    • Transactions require your signature
    • Funds are not immediately withdrawn from your account, but are placed on hold and remain unavailable until the transaction posts to your account
  • As a debit transaction (Point of Sale)
    • Transactions require your PIN
    • Funds are withdrawn from your checking account immediately
    • Some merchants will even allow you to get cash back
  • At the ATM See Credit Union ONE ATMs
    • Transactions require your PIN
    • Access cash from your accounts
    • Make convenient transfers between your accounts

Ordering Your Debit Card

  • Open a checking account at any branch location and your card is issued instantly, along with a unique Personal Identification Number (PIN). Debit cards will be mailed to all members opening new accounts online.
  • Call (800) 451-4292 to have a card and / or PIN mailed to you. Mailing your PIN takes 7–10 business days. Your card and PIN will be mailed separately for security reasons.

Travel Notification

  • Credit Union ONE is now utilizing the latest fraud protection tools to give you extra confidence when you travel.
  • You can now submit travel information prior to your vacation to reduce the chance of your debit card being blocked while away from home. Our enhanced database contains member name, telephone numbers, travel destination(s) with start and end dates, and individualized blocking instructions.
  • What does this mean while you are away? Be sure to contact us prior to your trip with contact information while you are away. If we suspect that questionable activity has occurred, we will contact you to verify the transaction. Enjoy your vacation without worrying about fraudulent activity on your account.
  • This service is a complementary part of your membership with Credit Union ONE.

Reporting a Lost or Stolen Debit Card

  • Call our Lost or Stolen Debit Card line at (888) 241-2510, 24 hours, 7 days a week
  • To order a replacement card, visit any of our branch locations or call (800) 451-4292
  • To change your PIN, visit any of our branch locations to create your unique PIN
Note: It is important to keep a good record of your account by subtracting what you've spent using your debit card from the balance in your account.
